Our parcels are shipped using Australia Post.  We endeavour to have your parcel ready to post within 2 business days (except during Christmas periods). All of our parcels require a signature on delivery.  If you are not at your address, the parcel will be taken to the nearest Post Office for pickup at a time that is convenient to you. East Coast Angling  takes every care to package the items securely to reduce the risk of damage or breakage, but will not take responsibility for packages lost or damaged in transit. We do not ship outside of Australia.

The following delivery timeframes for STANDARD SHIPPING apply:

  • Sydney and Melbourne Metro: 2-3 working days after dispatch. Orders are dispatched within 2 days.
  • Rest of Australia: 3-5 working days after dispatch. Orders are dispatched within 2 days.

*Delivery to remote areas may take longer. Please note we rely on Australia Post to provide delivery services so we cannot guarantee delivery times. If your order doesn’t arrive within the given timeframe, please inform us at [email protected]

Returns, Refunds and Replacements:  If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us immediately at [email protected] to arrange a replacement.  If the package has not been delivered, please contact us, so that we can follow up with Australia Post.

Out of Stock Items:  Despite our best intentions, sometimes the website will enable you to order a product that is out of stock.  When this occurs, we will contact you to see if you would like us to place an order with the supplier or try to find a substitute item for you.  If we cannot find a solution for you, we will happily organise a refund.

All products are shipped using Australia Post.  Parcels over the maximum weights will require a quote from Australia Post and you will be notified by phone before any extra charges are made.


We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind purchases.
If a product you have purchased is faulty, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving it at [email protected] including details of the fault.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with the original packaging and with a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non­refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
