Tour Overview

On arrival Day we will aim to leave Lizard Island that afternoon and fish our way up to the Tydeman Reef area where we can move each day in search of new grounds. There are also some deeper ledges and shoals here that will satisfy the guys looking to target doggies on topwater or the jig. There is extremely good ground though our journey on this trip and we can assure you these grounds have produced some lifechanging catches. The biggest drawcard of this location is our ability to move large distances if we need to find fish which maximises your chances for success. You also get to visit two locations in the single trip which is not otherwise achievable on our single location expeditions. Traveling most days in search of the best water gives you the ultimate chances of finding those trophy’s we are all after. Expect to encounter consistent numbers of GT’s & Dogtooth tuna through the right tide changes and a myriad of different reef and pelagic species such as Spanish mackerel, northern bluefin tuna, mahi mahi, wahoo, red bass, coral trout and the list goes on! This is the one location which really offers it all. Your charter will either run from Lizard Island to Lockhart River or Lockhart River to Lizard Island.
