When we first set eyes on the Veitch boats website we knew we had to find a way to get them commissioned into our fleet. We worked closely with the boat builder to finally finish the very first Veitch 23ft Centre console in Australia. These boats bring a new meaning to the word comfort. Their stocky 23ft hull comes equipped with an aggressive 26.5 degree deadrise at the transom and an even more mesmerising degree of aggressiveness at the front. With added features of a lockable flooded keel for stability when needed this little boat seriously packs a punch. Getting our guests out to the reef is a breeze in almost any sea conditions that you would want to be out on the ocean. With some innovate hull designs, the builder managed to maintain a very shallow draft which allows us to get right up in the shallows to target fish irrespective of the tide and going places the bigger boats just cant get to. Both of our 23ft Veitch’s are fitted with dual command stations which give our captains the edge over the competition. With a higher vantage point, they can spot bait, current and any cruising fish a lot further away and in low light conditions. Powered by twin 150HP Yamaha outboards which push the boat to speeds in excess of 40 knots, state of the art Simrad navigation equipment, and one of the loudest JL Audio sound systems you’ve heard just rounds off a day on the water with us and an unforgettable experience on the Great Barrier Reef.
